kite on a string - relationship-based parenting of teens

A workshop for parents on living with, loving, and launching your teens

Are you looking for more connection with your teen?
Worried about the effects of today's culture on your teen?
Are you uncertain about how to let go gracefully?

Like guiding a kite on a string, parenting a teenager requires a solid understanding of adolescents, quick reflexes, and lots of space. Knowing when to let the kite out, pull it in, untangle it and finally release it are all part of the skill. Parenting teenagers is a challenging task that can be filled with deep satisfaction.

Thomas and Letitia Suk present a two hour workshop which cover the topics:

  • What teens need most from their parents
  • Peer relationships
  • Creative ways to connect with your teens
  • Maintaining a strong family base
  • Developing an open house environment for their friends
  • The launching years

Tom is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20 years experience. Tish is a Certified Life Coach, speaker, and writer. They are parents of four grown children.

What can you do to promote world peace? Go home and love your family.
